Say no to garbage: Ludhiana is well known for their hosiery or industries and also counted in Smart cities. But rather than Smart city title there are several issues that every individual is facing, that is a pollution problem. Pollution is become one of the big disaster especially in Ludhiana.
We know Ludhiana occupied with several factories, warehouses and hosiery mills, which cause air pollution and water pollution at large scale.
If only we blamed industries for the pollution in the city then we are thinking absolutely wrong. The reason of pollution is not only the factories or the industries. Its main cause is us. We are also responsible for pollution.
Many people in our country that doesn’t have etiquette how to deal with rubbish. Many people use to litter their wrappers, water bodies, papers and other things on streets and roads openly that leads to an unhygienic environment.
Stop Water pollution: Say stop to water pollution. Indian is a developing country and if India is lacking at some point then it is pollution, which is found at large scale. So it’s our responsibility to take an action against pollution.
If we are talking about #Ludhiana city, than we must take an action against pollution. Ludhiana is the city of factories, hosiery mills and other manufacturing industries. And if we are disposing the industrial garbage into the river, than we are responsible for the water pollution.
To make our city neat and clean, we should discharge the industrial wastage into its right place. For industrial wastage discharge tips you can follow this link http://www.eai.in/ref/ae/wte/typ/clas/india_industrial_wastes.html
Properly used dustbins: We know eating and cleaning are the important tasks that every individual do in their daily lives. But mostly people don’t know how to manage rubbish. They used to throw rubbish openly instead of its right place i.e dustbins. If we will make a habit to put wastage in dustbins instead of thrash out here and there then we will get a “swacch bahart” very soon.
And if we are talking about Ludhiana then we are roving so many places in Ludhiana where we saw people are openly spitting and openly piss off. That is also one of the biggest unhygienic task that people are doing. So these are the things which we should take care of. If you see people to do shit things in front of you then you should explain them and make them understand how it affects them as well other lives.
Traffic Rules: It’s necessary that everyone should follow the traffic rules. But in Ludhiana even in many other places in India we see that people doesn’t follow the traffic rules. With the increase in traffic and the horn sounds will automatically rises noise pollution. And we know how noise pollution does harm us.
If we would follow the traffic rules then we don’t think there is any need to blow horn during driving. By proper following the traffic rules, less use of horn and growing trees around the roads will help us to make our city neat and clean. Or we should prefer cycle instead of motor to make our environment healthy.
Growing trees: We can say that if any magic in our hand is to safe our environment than its trees. Trees are the medicine of the injured environment. Trees are the wonderful attire that our universe worn. So if you want to contribute to make our city neat and clean then you should grow trees in your surroundings.
This is one of the unique key to make our city neat and clean. We know Ludhiana is an industrial city and many people are suffering from several diseases because of pollution issue. But if we can control pollution then only via growing trees we can control on these issues. So don’t think anything else after reading this article. Put your contribution into Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan.
Our responsibility: We cannot achieve Swacch Baharat or smart city title in true manner, until we are contributing ourselves into it. It’s not only the responsibility of a government to make our surrounding clean. It’s our responsibility as well to make our surrounding neat and clean.
It’s a campaign for every individual of every Indian. It’s not only government’s task to make an India neat and clean, until and unless we all work together to make our India clean or smart.
